I named the ministry "Fresh Joy" to reflect how I love to encourage, teach, and inspire people. Each person has their own unique value and abilities. Each organization has potential for growth.

My youthful passion to help people led me to train as a pastoral counselor. Later, I trained in personal, and grief & bereavement counseling. This led to me working as a counselor and a committee member for a large charity in the U.K. (White House Cancer Support, Dudley) which provided support and care for cancer patients and their families.

Since arriving in the USA, I have taken further training in life coaching, health coaching, and personality profiling (an accurate technique that is useful for both individuals and in the workplace). Over the years I have also followed my artistic passion for music, literature, and creative writing.

Following a missions trip to Uganda in 2006, I was asked to give pastoral oversight to local ministers in the region. It was exciting to watch the ministries grow and expand into neighboring countries.

As a local minister in my home county in Florida, I was invited to serve on the ambassador committee for the St Petersburg Chamber of Commerce for a couple of years. This was a great opportunity for me to work alongside small business owners and other professionals.
