Lynn named her ministry Fresh Joy to reflect her love to encourage, teach, and inspire people. Each person has unique value and abilities, and each organization has potential for growth and greater effectiveness.
In her mid-teens Lynn was mentored in Christian counseling and worked with homeless people and the paid hit-men in her local inner city in England. She later trained in personal and grief & bereavement counseling whilst working as a counselor and member of the oversight committee for a large charity in the UK (White House Cancer Support, Dudley) which provided support and care for patients and their families. Since Lynn’s arrival in the USA in 2004 she has enhanced her training in life coaching, health coaching, and personality profiling – through her own business activities and whilst working as a PTSD counselor for a medical practice.
As a local minister in her home county in Florida, Lynn was invited to serve on the ambassador committee for the St Petersburg Chamber of Commerce for a couple of years. This was a great opportunity for her to work alongside small business owners, entrepreneurs, and other professionals.
Following a ministry trip to Uganda in 2006, Lynn was asked to give apostolic oversight to the local ministers in the region. It was exciting to watch their ministries grow and expand into many neighboring countries. At the same time, Lynn was the principal of an online Christian academy for 14 home-school students.
This breadth and depth of experience has enhanced Lynn’s main calling as a mentor and support for other leaders.
Over the recent years Lynn has followed her artistic passion – studying music, literature, and creative writing. Presently she is taking graduate studies in Ministry.
